The Chaikhana cafe exploded in the Russian city of Voronezh
Details
An explosive device detonated in the building.
Russian Telegram channels close to law enforcers say that the explosion occurred at 3 am. Preliminarily, no one was hurt - there was no one in the building at that moment. At the same time, the explosion wave was so powerful that it completely blew out the windows in the cafe.
Initially, locals suggested in social networks that the cause of the explosion could be a banal violation of safety - for example, a gas cylinder could explode due to failure to comply with storage conditions. But later Russian media reported that local law enforcers are considering a completely different version - "Chaikhana" deliberately exploded.
It is reported that the operational services are working at the scene. According to the preliminary conclusion of experts, in the building of the cafe detonated an explosive device. Later they specified that it was a hand grenade. The main version of the investigation at the moment - the owner of the "Chaikhana" took revenge on competitors.
