Prigozhin's empire suffers financial collapse

Prigozhin's son lost more than $11 million dollars in the year of his father's death.

After the riots and the assassination of Putin's "cook," companies owned by Yevgeny Prigozhin's empire dramatically lost money in 2023, according to their financial statements, which were examined by journalists from the publication "We Can Explain."

Almost all of the companies owned by Prigozhin before his demise were at a loss.

One of the main companies, Concord Management and Consulting LLC, lost $58 thousand. It is the parent company of a combination of catering, construction firms and media. Prigozhin was the sole owner of Concord, and the new owners remain hidden. Other companies within Concord's structure also suffered losses, amounting to nearly $60 thousand.

The total loss of companies of Pavel Prigozhin, the son of the murdered head of PMC, exceeded $11 million. Pavel openly owns four companies, three of which are engaged in the construction of residential complexes.

Companies associated with Prigozhin and providing services for the army are losing profits. In 2023, their total profits fell from $536 million to $15 million. They now face the risk of bankruptcy as the Defense Department has stopped using their services.

However, there is still one company from Prigozhin's empire that has turned a profit. The company of Prigozhin's youngest daughter Veronika. She owns the hotel "Red Stars" in St. Petersburg. According to the results of 2023, this hotel almost 5 times increased its profit - up to $250 thousand.
