Shoigu promised to bomb Ukraine more after US military aid approval

"We will increase the intensity of strikes on logistics centers," Shoigu told a Defense Ministry board.
"Washington intends to allocate nearly $61 billion to the Kyiv regime to prevent the collapse of Ukraine's armed forces. <...> In proportion to the threats posed by the United States and its allies, we will continue to improve the composition and structure of the armed forces, increase the production of the most popular weapons and military equipment. We will increase the intensity of strikes against logistics centers and storage bases of Western weapons," Shoigu said at the Defense Ministry board meeting.
Shoigu also said that the NATO troop contingent near Russia's borders numbers up to 33,000 troops, about 300 tanks and more than 800 other armored combat vehicles.
He estimated that in more than two years of war, the AFU's losses amounted to "almost half a million servicemen." In early April, Shoigu said that Ukraine would lose 80,000 soldiers and 14,000 weapons in 2024 alone.
