Wagner man who killed four-year-old stepdaughter asked to 'redeem himself with blood' right in court

"She died, and you will die."

The Lipetsk regional court sentenced 32-year-old former PMC "Wagner" fighter Vladimir Vlasov to 14 years of imprisonment in a strict regime colony for the murder of his wife's 4-year-old daughter.

The crime occurred on October 1, 2023. Being in a state of alcoholic intoxication, Vlasov during an argument with his spouse inflicted several blows to her daughter, including a strong kick to the chest and abdomen.

When he realized that the girl was not showing signs of life, he attempted to give her first aid, but the child died before the ambulance arrived. However, the mother of the murdered girl Tatyana said, she tried to leave the house to call an ambulance, but Vlasov prevented her from doing so.

According to her, after killing the girl, Vlasov said, "She [the daughter] is dead, and you will die.

Forensic medics found that the girl died from multiple injuries, the most severe of which were lacerations to her right lung, liver and stomach.

Vlasov pleaded partially guilty - saying he wanted to kick the object, but the stepdaughter allegedly "accidentally got under his arm."

Vlasov is the father of five children: three from his first marriage and two from his second, with Tatiana. The birth father of the murdered girl at the time of her death was at the front, where he had been recruited from the prison.

In court, Vlasov referred to the contusion and alcohol. He said he wanted to "redeem himself with blood" and had already filed a petition with the court for a contract with the Defense Ministry. The mother of the murdered girl said that she "hopes that he will not live long there [in the war], because there is no forgiveness for killing a child".
