Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov's two sons - 17-year-old Eli and 16-year-old Adam - secretly married the granddaughter of State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov and the daughter of senator Suleiman Geremeyev, respectively, on June 8. This was reported by Novaya Gazeta Europe citing sources.
According to the newspaper, 17-year-old Eli Kadyrov married the eldest granddaughter of Kadyrov's alleged brother and Chechen State Duma deputy Adam Delimkhanov. Kadyrov has also named Delimkhanov as his successor. Having analyzed the social networks of the bride's mother, Khedi Delimkhanov, journalists concluded that Eli's bride could not be more than 14 years old.
Adam Kadyrov, 16, married the daughter of Suleiman Geremeyev, a cousin of Delimkhanov and the uncle of Ruslan Geremeyev, a defendant in the Boris Nemtsov murder case. The identity and age of this bride could not be established by journalists.
On June 17, Project released an investigative film in which it was revealed that Ramzan Kadyrov had sex with at least eleven girls aged 14-16, two of whom gave birth to his sons Eli and Adam.
According to the project, Ramzan Kadyrov's children were born to at least four different women, one of whom - Fatima Khazueva - gave birth to Eli at the age of 14, and another - Zamira Dzhabrailova - gave birth to Adam when she was 16. The publication claims that as of 2012, Kadyrov had at least 11 unofficial wives.
The publication speculates that Kadyrov is in a hurry to twin his sons with influential Chechen families because of his terminal illness.
Officially, the mother of all 14 of Ramzan Kadyrov's children is his wife Medni. The head of Chechnya has not commented on the information about the weddings of Eli and Adam, or on the Proyekt investigation.
