Ukraine will use long-range drones to attack the Urals and the Polar Region

The other day the AFU for the first time attacked with drones targets in Tatarstan, which is 1300 kilometers from the front line. The next target of the AFU may be the Russian military bases in Murmansk region, which is more than 2000 km from the front line. This is reported by BILD with reference to its sources.

It is alleged that a Ukrainian UJ-22 drone of a new modification was used for one of the strikes on Tatarstan's facilities, which are 1,300 km away from the front line. For the second attack, a drone based on the Ukrainian A-22 "Flying Fox" ultra-light airplane Aeropract A-22 was used.

According to BILD, already this year Ukraine will be able to use drones with a range of up to 2,000 kilometers and more. By the end of the year, 10 manufacturers will supply the AFU with drones with a range of up to 2,500 kilometers. And Kyiv's Luch Design Bureau has developed the Sokol-3000 drone, which can fly up to 3,300 kilometers.

According to BILD calculations, the new Ukrainian weapon will be able to attack targets, for example, in the Murmansk region. About 80 military bases are located there. Among them is Olenya airfield, where strategic bombers that bombard Ukraine are based. These bases are more than 2,000 kilometers away from the front line.

Recently, the Ukrainian military has been targeting Russian military facilities where strategic aircraft are deployed

For example, tonight Ukrainian drones attacked an airfield in Engels where there is a base for Tu-95 and Tu-22 heavy bombers, which are used to fire cruise missiles at Ukrainian territory.

The Russian Defense Ministry this morning also reported the destruction of 44 drones over the Rostov region. In particular, explosions were reported in Morozovsk, where a military airfield with Su-24, Su-24M and Su-34 bombers is located.
