The Ukrainian president has made several important statements about the end of the war.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized that his country would decide on its own when to start negotiations with Russia. He made this statement at a joint press conference with the Slovenian president in Kyiv.

Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine seeks peace, but Russia continues the war. He spoke about working on three plans: energy, food security, and prisoner exchange.

"This will be in the near future. We will also develop all the other items of the Peace Formula and prepare a cumulative plan that will be on the table in front of all our partners," he added.

The President emphasized the importance of developing a common plan to end the conflict, which will be supported by the majority of the world's countries. This, according to him, is a diplomatic way of settlement.

At the same time, Zelenskyy announced an increase in the production of military equipment in Ukraine. He believes that the country must be strong on the battlefield to achieve peace.

"Because if you are weak - it's not because someone wants to fight. We didn't want to from the very beginning. And nobody wants to now. We want just peace. But we have to be strong, and that is why we are developing our production to be strong," the head of state said.

The President of Ukraine emphasized that the Kremlin understands only the language of force. Therefore, Ukraine is simultaneously strengthening its military capabilities and developing a detailed peace plan, which will be ready this year.
