«We will not agree with Ukraine's membership in NATO, because this will be the start of the Third World War... I believe that this will never happen. As long as I have the opportunity to influence the Slovak political scene, I will use the right to veto such a decision,» Fico said in an interview with InfoVojna.
Robert Fico is known for his pro-Russian views and criticism of the European Union. He is against sanctions on Russia and supports cooperation with Vladimir Putin. Fico does not recognize the territorial integrity of Ukraine and thinks that Crimea is part of Russia. He also does not support the European integration of Ukraine and accuses Kiev of violating the rights of the Russian-speaking population.
