The anti-corruption prosecutor's office of Moldova has completed investigation and submitted to the court a case against the scandalous Kremlin puppet and bashkan of the Gagauz autonomy Evghenia Guțul and the head of the unconstitutional party "Shor" main office in Chisinau.
Guțul is accused of financing the pro-Kremlin "Shor" party, which is banned in Moldova. The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office said in a statement that Evghenia Guțul, while working as a secretary in the unconstitutional "Shor" party, systematically and daily imported money from Russia into Moldova from 2019 to 2022. They were used to finance the party's political activities.
The day before Guțul returned from Moscow, where she participated in a congress of supporters of Moldova's accession to the EAEU. Among the participants of the congress were also leaders of the parties "Renaissance" and VICTORIE, as well as fugitive Moldovan oligarch Ilan Shor, convicted in Moldova for 15 years for corruption and money laundering.
At the congress, the participants announced the creation of the pro-Russian bloc "Victory". The bloc's supporters are against Moldova's accession to the EU and support the country's joining the Eurasian Economic Union and developing relations with the Kremlin.
In early April, Guțul warned that the Gagauz autonomy would start the process of secession from Moldova if the republic's authorities decided to unite with Romania. She also announced that Gagauz agrarians would enter the Russian market.
