A 15-year-old refugee from Ukraine was attacked in the German city of Dortmund. The incident happened in the evening when the teenager was walking with his friends. The attacker used a knife.
According to the BILD material, the conflict in Dortmund began after the teenager and his friends started talking to two girls. This apparently displeased a group of young people, which led to a fight. The situation escalated when one of the men suddenly pulled out a knife.
The publication writes that the conflict led to serious consequences: first, the Ukrainian teenager received a cut on his neck, after which the attacker stabbed him in the "upper part of the body". Despite the injuries, the Ukrainian and his friends managed to escape from the attackers. The wounded guy was able to walk about a kilometer through the city before he lost consciousness.
After the attack, an ambulance doctor arrived on the scene and gave first aid to the teenager right on the street. He was then immediately transported to the clinic. Now the police are actively looking for the perpetrator, the case is being handled by the homicide investigation department. According to the latest information, the young man's condition has stabilized.
"We assume an attempted murder," said prosecutor Maribel Andersson.
